I'm pretty interested in getting the linux+busybox payload working. I see from the issues here that you wan't to focus on using the coreboot toolchain, but also that you linked buildroot on the libreboot issues.
I'm mostly wondering if I can find any clarification on three questions:
Should I focus on configuring a linuxboot payload via the coreboot build system or something else?
Which kernel version should I focus on?
Is there a place where the linuxboot payload is being worked on right now, or will there be one?

you can do what you want. the coreboot build system has a linuxboot build option in it. i've looked at the makefile and it's quite nice. it's a very barebones setup and should work fine
there is also the heads build system
i'm working on my own logic, implementing build recipes for a busybox+linux distro with musl, but in lbmk and osbmk

Is there much work done on the makefile for the current implementation? I'm wondering if the work done thus far can be (or is) in the git repo here or over at lbmk. I'm pretty interested in trying to bulid it myself and possibly port to ARM as well.

Discussed ad nauseam on irc.
