An Ordinary Morning's Impression

Description

A short kinetic visual novel about waiting. Because nothing ever goes awry if you patiently wait.
Made hopefully in time for Winter VN Jam 2022 and based on an idea more than six years in the haunting/making. This is my first attempt at a Gameboy game coded in assembly!

Building

  1. Make sure RGBDS and GNU Make are installed.
  2. Run build.sh.

Playing

The .gb ROM file can be booted up in any Gameboy emulator out there, as well as any Gameboy-branded handheld using a flashcart and any compatible third-party handhelds like Analogue Pocket, too (warning: noob code can damage genuine Gameboys, so proceed with caution)
