When this patch set is merged, I'd need the libreboot maintainer to run the resources/scripts/build/release/u-boot-libre script and to upload the resulting files.
As for drivers/dma/MCD_tasks.c it contains data that really looks like a firwmare. So while it's under a free license (GPLv2 or later), we don't have its corresponding source code so it's probably better to stop hosting it.
So the older release (r1) can then be removed if needed because I've archived them on archive.org.

Running tests/u-boot-libre fails tarball checksum verification on my system. Also, scripts/download/u-boot is hard-coded to prepare v2021.07, so tarball contents for v2022.07 are probably wrong on your end too (e.g. check if it's missing configs/chromebook_kevin_defconfig).
