Related to #40. After installing a quad core Q9000 on a T500 and T400 I found that the OS cannot detect the cpu model with libreboot 20210522. The cpu is detected properly with the Lenovo BIOS and Coreboot. In some situations, I found that the machine would shut off under a very high cpu load unless the cpu was manually throttled.

according to shmalebx9, the issue was caused by poor soldering on their board. this is a non-issue
why did i re-open this again?
