Snes9x is a portable, freeware Super Nintendo Entertainment System
(SNES) emulator. It basically allows you to play most games designed
for the SNES and Super Famicom Nintendo game systems on your PC or
Workstation; which includes some real gems that were only ever released
in Japan.
To use the GTK+2 frontend instead of GTK+3 use:
GTK2=1 ./snes9x.SlackBuild
Optional dependencies for the GTK+ frontend are:
libminizip, portaudio
RetroArch is an optional dependency to run the snes9x libretro core.
To build the debugging symbols use:
DEBUG=1 ./snes9x-libretro.SlackBuild
