- Snes9x is a portable, freeware Super Nintendo Entertainment System
- (SNES) emulator. It basically allows you to play most games designed
- for the SNES and Super Famicom Nintendo game systems on your PC or
- Workstation; which includes some real gems that were only ever released
- in Japan.
- To use the GTK+2 frontend instead of GTK+3 use:
- GTK2=1 ./snes9x.SlackBuild
- Optional dependencies for the GTK+ frontend are:
- libminizip, portaudio
- RetroArch is an optional dependency to run the snes9x libretro core.
- To build the debugging symbols use:
- DEBUG=1 ./snes9x-libretro.SlackBuild
