At the moment, there are two major build systems used in Libreboot: the old build system, used on x86, and Paper, used on ARM. Paper is much more maintainable, and it is a prerequisite for many updates, like reproducible builds and meeting GNU guidelines.

All boards need to be moved to Paper and the old system will eventually be deleted.
