<Jeremy_Rand> leah: there are 2 main protocols that browsers use for this: AIA and PKCS#11.  We fully support AIA; our PKCS#11 support is undergoing a code rewrite right now.  Pretty much all major browsers except Firefox use AIA; Firefox uses PKCS#11.  So if you care a lot about Firefox support, you may wish to wait for me to finish that rewrite
