Download Mr Money Mustache's articles into a neat eBook
Use this script to download all of Mr Money Mustache's blog articles into a neat, single file, offline available ebook.
Mr Money Mustache writes about achieving financial independence, freedom and other money saving and investing stuff that I thought would be great to have in an offline archive, hence the birth of this script.
Requirements are:
- pup (https://github.com/ericchiang/pup): HTML parser written in Go
- wget: for downloading articles (with images!)
- curl: for downloading index file
- calibre: optional, required to create epub files. Files will be HTML in its absence.
Warning: running this script means downloading all 490 or so articles from Mr MM's blog, which takes a seriously long time and may put a fair load in his servers, which could potentially blacklist you as a DDoSer. Please be polite and refrain from running this script too often.
