Halcyon needs its own subdomains.
Many links have a leading slash and the URL is often used internally for the script to detect on which page you are and which functions it has to execute.
Allowing subdirectory installations would cause many bugs so it's not planned to support that in future.

It's currently not possible to use Halcyon in a subdirectory of a website. For example, in header.php:
location.href = "/login";
