Well, mkblog.sh was supposed to be strictly POSIX Shell. Instead of discussing this pull request much, would you like it if I transfer the repository to you and let you become the owner of it? I have a fulltime job these days (I'm no longer a student) and lose pretty much all my spare time on maintaining Pext. I believe this project is probably in better hands with you than with me.

I personally don't really find this to be a good idea. One of the points of markdown is that it's also easily readable in a text editor. This HTML makes that a bit worse, for negligible benefits (if someone doesn't know what AGPL is, having a long version on mouse-over isn't going to help them understand). If anything would change here, I'd rather it just be adding a sentence like "Check LICENSE for more information".

That sounds like an improvement. I think the main issue here is that we'll somehow have to detect unclosed tags. We could simply filter out tags in the sed statement on https://notabug.org/SylvieLorxu/mkblog.sh/src/master/.mkblog.sh#L219 but that would remove the ability to have things like images in the preview.

I forgot about this issue and have been focusing on Pext. No progress was really made on this. Will probably need someone else to look at this because I don't see myself finding the time for it any time soon.
