#34 [Doc] LibertyBSD Package Source

Does LibertyBSD use OpenBSD for getting packages? If so, have you considered hosting your own mirror?

I was reading #27 and it seems to ask for OpenBSD release file.

Why?:

First of all, if you use OpenBSD's repositories it potentially cause confusion.

Plus, correct me if wrong but it doesn't seem that OpenBSD doesn't have clear policy against non-free code. Potentially breaking the FSD Guidelines.

Note: I'm still learning and switching from Linux to BSD.

Everything I said, is mostly based on things others have stated.

I would appreciate a response from the LibertyBSD developers to help provide clarity.

Some of OpenBSD's libre packages are used (because re-compiling all packages is a waste of electricity, not even Parabola does that), and that's why you need OpenBSD keys.

A sanitized package repo is hosted, though, check a mirror.
