LibertyBSD has been around for a while now and I am wondering why it is not included as a Free Non-GNU distro (https://www.gnu.org/distros/free-non-gnu-distros.html) yet.

Is the project still waiting for a response from the FSF or did they reject it?

The FSF Licensing team will be getting to LibertyBSD at some point-- we weren't the first ones to apply for approval, so it'll probably be a while 'till they get to us. As far as approval goes, it's a waiting game right now.
