I have everything same as before. Offline launch solves the problem. But the first few days after the 5.2 release was without need to turn off internet. Strange hoyovers.

I don't know specifically how to solve your problem, but at least try not using the “lutris-7.2-2” wine version. It hasn't been updated from 2022 and I dont think it has Wine-GE patches. Just use wine-ge-8-26. You can also disable fsync, it won't even work on Ubuntu with its kernel.

@Ph42oN try switch fsync to esync, this helped me with the cpu usage in 3.7 before patch_anti_logincrash.sh patch was released

Everything works fine, except that I'm catching that https://notabug.org/Krock/dawn/issues/361 amd driver bug again on a clean system. Played ~6 hours, also used `patch_anti_logincrash.sh`, thanks.
