I was lucky 4 times (2* flashing last official bios, 2* libreboot) in about 20 minutes netto time. Few times i needed reconnect clip for better contact, everytime i needed autodetect chip twice. But when i was correctly connected (read data instead chip appeared blank), then EVERYTIME on FIRST TRY can write (and verify it). I do not that call lucky.

Core 2 duo E7500 (45nm) the same (with original bios with exactly same 2 sticks of 2GB it works, so it is not hardware incompatibility problem). Other people confirms that https://trisquel.info/en/forum/libreboot-ram#comment-140022 .
