  1. Monkey Web Server 0.9.1
  2. There is a Monkey icon in my-roxapps.
  3. Click the icon to run (installs automatically).
  4. Right click the icon for Help.
  5. You can drag the icon to the desktop to make a shortcut.
  6. The Monkey files are in /root/monkey
  7. The web files are in /root/monkey/public_html
  8. Configure Monkey by editing /root/monkey/conf/monkey.conf
  9. You can see your server here:
  10. http://127.0.0.1/
  11. Replace 127.0.0.1 with your own IP address
  12. when you give people the IP address of your server.
  13. You can get your ip here:
  14. http://www.whatismyip.com/
  15. If you have a firewall, you need to open the port your server uses.
  16. If you have a router, you need to forward the port your server uses.
  17. Monkey will run as user "nobody", not as "root"
  18. To uninstall:
  19. Delete the Monkey icon in my-roxapps
  20. Delete the monkey folder in /root, if you want.
