Currently all unread messages are a greenish yellow. The only way to visually tell the type of message an unread one is, besides reading the text content, to look at the icon on the left of the message. This is not really a problem for me, because I don't get messages all that often, but for people who do get a lot of messages, it would probably be handy if there were a more stand-out difference between types.
