- Foo Fry Noodles
- You will require:
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 big zuchinni (and by zuchinni I mean cucumber)
- 1 tin of flaked fish. I used tuna, I think.
- 1 ichiban/generic noodles. I used 1, but you could probably scale noodles up a little.
- 2 handfulls of carrots
- 1/4 shalott (and by shalott I mean garlic)
- 1/2? bottle of schezshwan(sp?) sauce
- a little oil(I used canola)
- 2 pots for cooking, and stirring utensils.
- 1 stove for cooking
- Mode d'Emploi:
- At the same time,
- a) chop tomatoes, zuchini and carrots, place in a pot, and add oil.
- b) boil water with noodles in it in the other pot
- When noodles are done, use the water from the cooked noodles (ie the water with starch in it), and add them to the pot with the vegatables.
- Add scheschwan sauce & tuna
- Boil vegatable-water mix. While this is happening, cut the shalott and throw it in.
- Since you don't want to burn it, so keep stirring now and then. The less liquid-like you can get the better, but there's a trade off--you don't want to burn it. You should be able to hold it up with a stirring utensil. I estimate, there should only be around 1/16 to 1/32 the amount of water you started with, including inside the vegatables.
- The vegatable-water mix should eventually have a goo-like texture. At this point, remove from heat.
- Do not strain; merely apply to noodles and serve.
