- .25 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- .5 cup flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- .25 tsp salt
- .5 c chopped nuts (almonds)
- .5 cup flaked flaked coconut
- melt butter, add sugar and egg, beat
- sift dry ingredients together and add.
- spread in lightly greased 8x8" pan
- bake 30 minutes at 325.
- icing;
- .25 c butter
- .5 cup brown sugar
- 2 tblsp milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- .5 c icing usgar
- put outside in winter for 10 mins
- cook first three ingredients together for 2 minutes
- cool and add the last two ingredients
- beat till smooth. spread on cookie mixture while still warm
