- It'd be fantastic to have some options for site and group admins to have various easy-to-set-up via the site bots. Not sure how this could be implemented. Maybe a web GUI for that trickle out script with plenty of options for adjusting time and frequency. Hardcode maximum amount per timeframe i.e. no more than one status per minute / however many per day. One use that might be cool would be to post a playlist, either xspf or reading from GNU FM / ListenBrainz as a secondary method. There could be a bot that a DJ uses during a set to broadcast what's playing. Other uses, as we've already seen, would be to post news sources. I'm thinking one article per hour with 12-24 reputable sources, configured by bot-master/admin. I'd also like to pull images from the web or maybe from a collection on the local server, and post every few hours. If possible also with a description. i.e. grab an animal picture then a section/summary from Wikipedia, once per day. Let me try to summerize configurable options - sources - frequency - post to group or list or to self/private We should further discuss what's possible and how what could be implemented.
