Cryptocurrency Market Indexer is a personal project of mine to index coins using Coin Gecko's API. Although it's amateur code, it's code that works in-house (and I only ever recommend you run it privately, never publicly).

The project started to keep historical records of market data so it could be privately observed, rather than relying 100 percent on a third-party (minus CG's API). I feel it's very important people are able to study market data and play around with a simple simulator without too many eyeballs.

If you find an inactive coin

Initially I was able to remove around 1,200 or so "inactive" coins from coinlist.sql. That's not going to be the end of that - So if you do find any dead coins, use the Issues tracker to report them.
