Learn Lua with LÖVE

Tutorial files for the LÖVE game engine.

To build each demo, change directory into the appropriate folder and run:

$ make clean
$ make game play
$ love ./game.love

Requires

To use these files, you must install:

  • love2d
  • lua
  • zip

On Linux or BSD, these are probably available from your software repository (so use dnf or apt or ports, or whatever your distro provides).

On non-open operating systems, I assume there are downloads available online somewhere.

See LICENSE file for details. None of this code is exactly groundbreaking, but if you improve upon it, I'd love to get copy of your improvements so that we all have better tutorials to provide new users. However, it is not required by the license.
