15.
MMD Dramas

 16.
 17.
Ah, I remember watching these 10 years ago... those were the days. Made by the great 腰つきP (Koshitsuki-P), these were insane and perverted "dramas" featuring not just Vocaloid characters, but pretty much everything with an MMD model that this dude could get his hands on.

 18.
Some personal favourites include:

 19.

 20.
Miku's Golden Juice - Kaito decides he'd like to try Miku's urine, and Miku hesitantly agrees...

 21.
Temptation of M - Miku bans Kaito from using his "naked scarf pose" in public, and denied of his perverse antics, turns into a woman! Can Miku seduce him into being normal again??

 22.
Temptation of M (ENG dub)

 23.
Pafu Pafu

 24.

 25.
This video also features a great selection of highlights if you don't feel like sampling the full things.

 28.
Songs

 29.

 30.
 31.
Kaito/Miku siscon phenomenon

 32.
For whatever reason there were a lot of songs that gave Kaito and Miku a brother/sister dynamic... and with it, Kaito was usually the loser obssessed older brother. This was also a core dynamic in the MMD dramas, but its reach extended to songs too.

 33.

 34.
Brother is Worried (I can't find the original version on Niconico, so here's a reupload -- the "save Miku" label really says a lot about the era)

 35.
Onii Yuukai -- Doesn't exactly play into the usual dynamic, but actually features Rin, Luka, and Miku trying to seduce their beloved onii-chan... it's also weirdly a great parody cover of the classic Meltdown.

 36.

 37.

 40.
The "sexy Len" era

 41.
Okay, this is less questionable and honestly more funny to me, but I think that gives it a place here.

 42.

 43.
Sacred Spear Explosion Boy -- Honestly this is still a banger tho, rerulili has some good songs even if he is an ass

 44.
messiah or desire -- This used to be in my Vocaloid playlist 10 years ago

 45.
SPICE! -- I was never really into this song but I remember it being SO popular, and I think was the de facto "sexy Len" song at the time

 46.

 47.

 48.

 50.
Shota Len yaoi

 51.
Another rampant Len trend.

 52.

 53.
Hetarenaide yo! Oniichan♥ -- I distinctly remember having this in a playlist years back lmao. Also, I HAVE to link this insane Kaito/Len MMD yaoi video featuring the song that I remember watching 10 years ago lmfao

 54.
Shota Shota★Fever Miracle Tonight - samfree parody cover... by Giga of all people.

 55.
Magical☆Nuko Len Len - Nya☆nya☆nya☆nya☆ Notably from OwataP

 56.
The Rampage of Kagamine Len - Len gets tired of playing the role of a shota... but Vocaloids are powerless to resist the lines they're forced to say. Also, this is by cosMo lol

 57.
Shota Shota Island - featuring Piko!

 58.
Shotarella

 59.
The Immoral Memory ~The Lost Memory~ -- Honourary mention, this is actually not a shota meme song like the others, but features Len cross-dressing in a yaoi love triangle(?) so there's def some shota vibes going on here.

 60.

 61.
I think it's also hilarious and interesting to note that a good amount of sexy and shota Len songs were done by the fabulous and now insanely popular Giga. He's probably still one of the most prominent Len users, though his songs now tend to have more a "badass" and "cool" vibe (with him also doing a number of amazing contributions to Proseka now).

 62.
 63.
Gakupo is a fucking loser

 64.
Despite Gakupo's initial character portrayal being that of a cool and collected samurai, the character he ended up developing in the fandom is generally "fucking loser who can't pull a GF trying to be cool." And honestly? It's kind of awesome lmfao

 65.
The theme itself isn't particularly "odd" but a lot of Gakupo's portrayals have him acting like an absolute degenerate, so I think it earns a place here.

 66.

 67.
Love Muscle -Thesis of Abdominal Muscle- -- Gakupo decides to become a macho man to win the heart of his dream girl... Kaai Yuki. Yes, that Yuki (and she ends up ditching him for Kiyoteru in the end lmao)

 68.
Go Google It -- A classic honestly. Gakupo bothers Luka with dumb questions, such as if she's wearing panties. "Go Google it!!"

 69.
Dancing☆Samurai -- Gakupo can't pull any girls, so he hones his skills as a dancing warrior instead. #relatable

 70.

 71.

 72.

 73.
The Madness of Duke Venomania -- Honourable mention. If you take it out of context from the story of Evillious, it's about Gakupo making a demon pact to stop being an ugly loser and have the power to charm any woman, but the moment it's over they all book it and run away immediately.

 74.

 75.
Also, a classic feature of Nico Nico Cho Party is Gakupo being a recurring character on stage, with his appearances usually being a loser pining after Gumi and getting rejected every time.

 76.
 77.
Pictured above: Gakupo announces to the audience that he has finally acquired Gumi's number by freezing time to steal it.

 78.
 79.
Nico Nico Cho Party

 80.
Related to above, these are worth a mention on their own because they're generally 75% real concert, 25% shitpost I think. These aren't actually that old, but unfortunately I don't think they actually do these anymore

 81.
These concerts usually feature a slew of popular Vocaloid songs, but because it's not an offical big Vocaloid event they use MMD models and motions, and it's not restricted to just Cryptonloids either. Some of the songs are weird covers as well, so even for the songs everyone has heard 1000 times already, they usually have their own spin on them. It's a bizarre and beautiful amalgamation of vocalsynth community content, and it's kind of awesome actually.

 82.

 83.
2013 - Nothing particularly crazy here imo, but an interesting look at what was popular back then.

 84.
2014 - MIKU GETS CRUCIFIED

 85.
2015 -- I think the most iconic part of this one is Hibikase x Echo

 86.
2016 -- This and 2015 are probs the best years imo, they really peaked with these

 87.
2017 - I think the video for this one is using AR for the stage models at some angles??
