trick-or-treat

A spooky and delicious XFWM4 theme with pre-rendered elements. Can be also applied to GTK3/4 apps with the provided tool.

Instructions

Extract the archive to ~/.themes. Install yad if you wish to use the GTK3/4 configuration tool.
Upon launching the tool will ask you to enter the background and selected state colors of your current theme. This is required because the workaround used to make the borders look right removes the window background.
The tool will create a gtk.css file and a symlink to /asset in ~/.config/gtk-3.0 and ~/.config/gtk-4.0. Delete these when switching window decorations.

Known issues

  • Junk pixels on the right side of the titlebar
  • Hard-to-remove outline around libhandy apps with some themes
  • Theme doesn't apply to some GTK apps/windows as intended
