Despite the top-posting that made all the messages appear in reverse
chronological order, I have managed to understand the mail exchanges.
I agree with Willi about the need to avoid clandestine tactics. That is
good for the people that do not have transparent objectives. Of course
Sun Tzu would have disagreed with me. But the important thing is not to
destroy IGF's governance stategy. The most important is to construct our
own GNU (pun intended) design with decentralization on its core.
It is not necessary to get all the left in Brazil together. The only
important thing is to call the attention of people that agree that
Internet should be decentralized. Then get them together to hack
solutions for the realization of this proposal. Brazil is a very big
country. Many people will agree to do this even a small percentage of
the people decide to do so.
With a lot of people contributing, it is possible to build the necessary
infrastructure for all people to use. The first thing to do is to open a
space for brain storming. It is not necessary to argue about which is
the best solution. With everyone's opinion, it is enough. Arguing beyond
that point is wasting time. Then people interested in constructing some
of those ideas could get together in groups to create pilot projects. It
is necessary to test the pilots and then share them. People will then
adopt the ones that they think that are the best.
