  10. Description
  11. -----------
  12. The LTC4215 controller allows a board to be safely inserted and removed
  13. from a live backplane.
  14. Usage Notes
  15. -----------
  16. This driver does not probe for LTC4215 devices, due to the fact that some
  17. of the possible addresses are unfriendly to probing. You will have to
  18. instantiate the devices explicitly.
  19. Example: the following will load the driver for an LTC4215 at address 0x44
  20. on I2C bus #0:
  21. $ modprobe ltc4215
  22. $ echo ltc4215 0x44 > /sys/bus/i2c/devices/i2c-0/new_device
  23. Sysfs entries
  24. -------------
  25. The LTC4215 has built-in limits for overvoltage, undervoltage, and
  26. undercurrent warnings. This makes it very likely that the reference
  27. circuit will be used.
  28. in1_input input voltage
  29. in2_input output voltage
  30. in1_min_alarm input undervoltage alarm
  31. in1_max_alarm input overvoltage alarm
  32. curr1_input current
  33. curr1_max_alarm overcurrent alarm
  34. power1_input power usage
  35. power1_alarm power bad alarm
