I have a rooted Android 7.0 device, and I also have AFWall+ installed on it. When I started the MovieDB app, it crashed because I hadn't set the appropriate rules that would allow MovieDB to use the internet connection. I think the MovieDB app shouldn't simply crashed, but instead it should give some connection error.

Although the application is not really usable without Internet connection, it shouldn't crash anymore. While I was at it I've also added Toasts to inform the user that there is no Internet connection.

You're completely right! I'll take a look at it.
