L3Q is an abbreviation for: Light, Light, Lightweight Queue.
L3Q is a system to run processes/programs in parallell or in sequence on multiple nodes.
L3Q is an implementation of a light, light, lightway queue system.
Here you will find information on installation and configuration.
General
The idea with L3Q is to run it in a local controlled network.
It is not design to be used online on several differen locations.
All users that should use L3Q needs to be available on all
nodes, so it is recommended to use LDAP.
The node daemon (node-l3qd) that is used on all compute nodes
launches jobs so commands that is specified in the taskfile
has to be available on all nodes,
as L3Q chooses which compute node to run the task on and
you can not control which task that run in which node,
it is recommended to use a network storage like NFS or Gluster.
