  4. Raido and Algiz
  5. inverted both mean
  6. nearly the same exact damn thing.
  7. But one is push
  8. while the other is pull:
  9. extension cord plugged into itself,
  10. forever either half-full,
  11. infinite feedback on null.
  12. Straddled over your comatose body,
  13. chaotic blood draining energy
  14. and then pushing it back into your veins
  15. to keep your rivers flowing.
  16. That's how our relationship always
  17. plays
  18. out, freeing each other from Golden Cages
  19. and recovering our powers of flight
  20. and saving each other
  21. from whatever
  22. problems turn themselves to plights.
  23. One pushes while the other pulls,
  24. retrieving water from a well deep but full.
  25. You taught me, when in leg cramp,
  26. to grab
  27. my ankle and pull it to my crotch.
  28. The pain
  29. would go away,
  30. but the thick
  31. stiff
  32. lump would stay
  33. until I managed to walk it off.
  34. I've got a theory
  35. that's nearly
  36. the same,
  37. but I had to wait
  38. until the full moon came.
  39. If I cycle your energy through all your cells
  40. and slowly siphon off the excess,
  41. you won't go feral
  42. and you'll wake up without destruction's distress.
  43. The woman with the carmine eyes
  44. awakens with whole body relaxed,
  45. looks up at her lover, the parasite,
  46. and whispers, "I think the worst is past.
  47. I'm so damn grateful you're in my life."
