Using BBDB

To view your BBDB records enter "M-x bbdb RET RET", this will open up bbdb's contacts. If some of the following commands fail to work with the error message, try toggling read-only-mode via "M-x read-only-mode". Otherwise, type in these commands to do stuff with bbdb.

c create a new record

n,p move to the next or previous displayed record, respectively

a add a new mail alias to the current record

C-k If point is on the the name of this person, then C-k will delete the record. If point is on a field of the record,

i insert a new field into this record. ie: insert a phone number.
