  1. These are various small writings and concepts I've created under various
  2. circumstances that I don't feel like putting in their own files. Maybe they can
  3. become something more in the future or be copied into other works.
  4. Something started vibrating in a newly forming clump of rocks of undetermined
  5. size, perhaps by yet an unknown law of nature, or by the will of God. Lifeless
  6. matter caught in spiralling dance differed little from its countless neighbours,
  7. and yet there has been a spark previously unseen. A glimpse of fire that might
  8. just start if only it wasn't drowned under water. And just as swiftly as a
  9. newbord dies, as a life ends before it starts, it has been killed. And still,
  10. something wasn't the same. The most educated of philosophers, the most
  11. brilliant mind of science could not tell you the nature of a change so unusual
  12. and suddent, or even grasp its vague shape, but a feeling of great struggle,
  13. desire, despair and silence would be felt as if carved in the stone cold ice.
  14. A mammal -- or at least something resembling it -- is looking for a partner to
  15. mate with! And here it is: a female hiding among strands of grass. But would
  16. it be nature if things were easy? If we know anything, then that love is
  17. deserved through competition of rivals. As a newcomer appears, he prepares to
  18. fight for the right to sustain what he represents. Is this not the Universe's
  19. greatest plan? At this moment, the eternal wheels of evolution turn right
  20. before our eyes. They jump and the greenery shakes. But they are not very
  21. big -- why are they so cute?! And in this, another story unfolds: a big one
  22. comes that puts others in shade. Even in this fierce fight, almost to life and
  23. death, their battle remains unnoticed at the feet of a giant carelessly
  24. sniffing a tree for the finest leaves, preoccupied only by the though of which
  25. ones it would be best to eat. In this story I am not present physically, I am
  26. merely observing this miracle. But still, as any photon of this Universe is
  27. beyond death, I am part of this world, and here, at this moment, watching this
  28. great play of nature, we meet.
