  47. <STRONG>mitem_opts</STRONG> - set and get menu item options

  49. <H2>SYNOPSIS</H2><PRE>
  50. <STRONG>#include</STRONG> <STRONG>&lt;menu.h&gt;</STRONG>
  51. int set_item_opts(ITEM *item, Item_Options opts);
  52. int item_opts_on(ITEM *item, Item_Options opts);
  53. int item_opts_off(ITEM *item, Item_Options opts);
  54. Item_Options item_opts(const ITEM *item);
  55. </PRE>
  56. <H2>DESCRIPTION</H2><PRE>
  57. The function <STRONG>set_item_opts</STRONG> sets all the given item's
  58. option bits (menu option bits may be logically-OR'ed
  59. together).
  60. The function <STRONG>item_opts_on</STRONG> turns on the given option bits,
  61. and leaves others alone.
  62. The function <STRONG>item_opts_off</STRONG> turns off the given option
  63. bits, and leaves others alone.
  64. The function <STRONG>item_opts</STRONG> returns the item's current option
  65. bits.
  66. There is only one defined option bit mask, <STRONG>O_SELECTABLE</STRONG>.
  67. When this is on, the item may be selected during menu pro-
  68. cessing. This option defaults to on.
  69. </PRE>
  70. <H2>RETURN VALUE</H2><PRE>
  71. Except for <STRONG>item_opts</STRONG>, each routine returns one of the fol-
  72. lowing:
  73. <STRONG>E_OK</STRONG> The routine succeeded.
  74. <STRONG>E_SYSTEM_ERROR</STRONG>
  75. System error occurred (see <STRONG>errno</STRONG>).

  80. <H2>NOTES</H2><PRE>
  81. The header file <STRONG>&lt;menu.h&gt;</STRONG> automatically includes the header

  84. <H2>PORTABILITY</H2><PRE>
  85. These routines emulate the System V menu library. They
  86. were not supported on Version 7 or BSD versions.
