61.
DESCRIPTION

62. These functions make it possible to set hook functions to
63. be called at various points in the automatic processing of
64. input event codes by menu_driver.
65. The function set_item_init sets a hook to be called at
66. menu-post time and each time the selected item changes
67. (after the change). item_init returns the current item
68. init hook, if any (NULL if there is no such hook).
69. The function set_item_term sets a hook to be called at
70. menu-unpost time and each time the selected item changes
71. (before the change). item_term returns the current item
72. term hook, if any (NULL if there is no such hook).
73. The function set_menu_init sets a hook to be called at
74. menu-post time and just after the top row on the menu
75. changes once it is posted. menu_init returns the current
76. menu init hook, if any (NULL if there is no such hook).
77. The function set_menu_term sets a hook to be called at
78. menu-unpost time and just before the top row on the menu
79. changes once it is posted. menu_term returns the current
80. menu term hook, if any (NULL if there is no such hook).
81.

82.
RETURN VALUE

83. Routines that return pointers return NULL on error. Other
84. routines return one of the following:
85. E_OK The routine succeeded.
86. E_SYSTEM_ERROR
87. System error occurred (see errno).

92.
NOTES

93. The header file <menu.h> automatically includes the header
94. file <curses.h>.
95.

96.
PORTABILITY

97. These routines emulate the System V menu library. They
98. were not supported on Version 7 or BSD versions.
