  50. <STRONG>#include</STRONG> <STRONG>&lt;form.h&gt;</STRONG>
  51. int set_field_opts(FIELD *field, Field_Options opts);
  52. int field_opts_on(FIELD *field, Field_Options opts);
  53. int field_opts_off(FIELD *field, Field_Options opts);
  54. Field_Options field_opts(const FIELD *field);
  55. </PRE>
  56. <H2>DESCRIPTION</H2><PRE>
  57. The function <STRONG>set_field_opts</STRONG> sets all the given field's
  58. option bits (field option bits may be logically-OR'ed
  59. together).
  60. The function <STRONG>field_opts_on</STRONG> turns on the given option bits,
  61. and leaves others alone.
  62. The function <STRONG>field_opts_off</STRONG> turns off the given option
  63. bits, and leaves others alone.
  64. The function <STRONG>field_opts</STRONG> returns the field's current option
  65. bits.
  66. The following options are defined (all are on by default):
  67. O_VISIBLE
  68. The field is displayed. If this option is off, dis-
  69. play of the field is suppressed.
  70. O_ACTIVE
  71. The field is visited during processing. If this
  72. option is off, the field will not be reachable by
  73. navigation keys. Please notice that an invisible
  74. field appears to be inactive also.
  75. O_PUBLIC
  76. The field contents are displayed as data is entered.
  77. O_EDIT
  78. The field can be edited.
  79. O_WRAP
  80. Words that do not fit on a line are wrapped to the
  81. next line. Words are blank-separated.
  82. O_BLANK
  83. The field is cleared whenever a character is entered
  84. at the first position.
  85. O_AUTOSKIP
  86. Skip to the next field when this one fills.
  87. O_NULLOK
  88. Allow a blank field.
  89. O_STATIC
  90. Field buffers are fixed to field's original size.
  91. Turn this option off to create a dynamic field.
  92. O_PASSOK
  93. Validate field only if modified by user.
  94. </PRE>
  95. <H2>RETURN VALUE</H2><PRE>
  96. Except for <STRONG>field_opts</STRONG>, each routine returns one of the
  97. following:
  98. <STRONG>E_OK</STRONG> The routine succeeded.
  99. <STRONG>E_BAD_ARGUMENT</STRONG>
  100. Routine detected an incorrect or out-of-range argu-
  101. ment.
  102. <STRONG>E_CURRENT</STRONG>
  103. The field is the current field.
  104. <STRONG>E_SYSTEM_ERROR</STRONG>
  105. System error occurred (see <STRONG>errno</STRONG>).
  106. </PRE>
