62.
DESCRIPTION

63. These routines copy the array of complex characters wchstr
64. into the window image structure at and after the current
65. cursor position. The four routines with n as the last
66. argument copy at most n elements, but no more than will
67. fit on the line. If n=-1 then the whole array is copied,
68. to the maximum number of characters that will fit on the
69. line.
70. The window cursor is not advanced. These routines work
71. faster than waddnstr. On the other hand, they do not per-
72. form checking (such as for the newline, backspace, or car-
73. riage return characters), they do not advance the current
74. cursor position, they do not expand other control charac-
75. ters to ^-escapes, and they truncate the string if it
76. crosses the right margin, rather than wrapping it around
77. to the new line.
78. These routines end successfully on encountering a null
79. cchar_t, or when they have filled the current line. If a
80. complex character cannot completely fit at the end of the
81. current line, the remaining columns are filled with the
82. background character and rendition.
83.

84.
NOTES

85. All functions except wadd_wchnstr may be macros.
86.

87.
RETURN VALUES

88. All routines return the integer ERR upon failure and OK on
89. success.
90.

91.
PORTABILITY

92. All these entry points are described in the XSI Curses
93. standard, Issue 4.
