https://brave.com/tip-with-brave/ Twitter beat us to it. If you haven't heard of it, BAT = Basic Attention Token. Currently it's only integrated with Brave web browser but eventually will support others. It's earned either by trading fiat or crypto or by viewing privacy respecting ads. BAT is for microtransactions running off the Ethereum blockchain and everything is open source, of course.

Additional notes: There should be an icon on Notices and Profiles for Actors who've enabled this functionality. Along with a link to documentation explaining what this is and how it works.

Maybe even for those who have not and a way to nudge people who have tips waiting for them. The more this is seen, the more it might be used and it'll incentivize people to make a higher quantity of quality posts. Quality, as always, is subjective. lol.

Maybe not this one but rather Web Monetization standard which is already approval-pending on W3C and is browser agnostic.

That sounds awesome! I think I heard something brief about that recently. hmm..

What would that look like? How would it work? This looks like something I can spend days researching....

Bonus: I already use Uphold (and suggest everyone else that uses [PayPal] to as well.)
