As I'm using this fork and the Qvitter UX plugin, it spawns a lot of messages in the logs:

It looks like but last commit in https://git.gnu.io/h2p/Qvitter was a year ago and since then quitter.se got down, so it seems that Hannes (https://quitter.se/hannes2peer) has no active plan for it.
