If I install gnusocial like in the INSTALL.md there is no file install.php directly. I have to direct to domain.tld/public/insall.php. But then a lot of things are not working at all. Please update INSTALL.md to the new structure, that everybody can install GNUsocial again. That is what i realy liked most about GNUsocial, the lightweight direct installation it had a before.

@sven222 thanks for your report and your enthusiasm :)
What specifically is wrong in the instructions? It seems like it may be a webserver configuration issue. Maybe the sample configs are wrong. What webserver and config are you using?

You are right. It seems INSTALL.md is old. This is my installation https://web.gnusocial.jp/post/2022/09/05/. FYI.
