#273 updating user/follow list?

I joined in early-to-mid 2010s as https://status.davidchmelik.com/ and had to reinstall once or a few/couple times in the past, and reinstalled recently after I got my webserver working again.
Now it says I'm user 2; can I edit my node to make me user 1?
I followed MMN & RMS, but are they still on GNU Social, and if so where, or if MMN is no longer the main programmer/developer/engineer, who is, so I can follow them?
Avatars of accounts I follow (FSF) are also broken (though I still see their posts and images in those.)
Many years ago I think I had a few followers (after I joined the original Fediverse group that disappeared, then the second group) but when I only saved the database and/or lost the database, I no longer have my follower list... is there a way to reload that? Is there a new Fediverse group to join?
If you can help me fix my node, I'll restart a node I let a few scientific/mathematical people use.
edit: aab showed me scripts that fixed the avatars, but there's still the issues why I'm user 2 (not 1) and finding official GNU Social, and Fediverse accounts/groups to refollow, and seeing if I can refresh my followers list.

Try using phpMyAdmin to edit part of the db. IIRC there's a line somewhere that numerates each user if you'd rather not be the #2. ;)

please don't do this :') It really isn't this simple, the user id shouldn't make any difference in practical usage, and its integrity is very relevant as it is how the linkage is made between the multiple data in the database.

Updates about GNU social are being published in https://www.gnusocial.rocks/v3/
