This is a project I made a number of years ago, and never quite finished polishing. This git repo is quick and dirty, to ensure I actually have a backup.

What is this? An LED clock for a 64x64 led matrix. ( See https://www.adafruit.com/product/3649 ) The clock includes weather and sun up/down.

There is both a python version of the clock, which 1) came first, 2) works, 3) has the features, 4) is slow/uses more CPU than needed. There is also the start of a C version. Much faster, less features finished. No network weather yet...

Anyway, this needs rpi-rgb-led-matrix to work. ( See https://github.com/hzeller/rpi-rgb-led-matrix ) For fonts, clone spleen into this dir... https://github.com/fcambus/spleen
