70. My mother decided to post about our yard sale using their own Facebook account after all.
71. Apparently, using an advertising method other than Facebook isn't an option to them.
72. How effective is Facebook for local yard sale listing, anyway? It doesn't seem to me like it'd be of much value.
73. In any case, my mother was dead set on getting the yard sale listed on Facebook, so that's exactly what they got.
74.

75.

76. Vanessa and Cyrus took turns watching the yard sale while I cleaned out the cooler, then the refrigerator and freezer.
77. I was instructed that anything freezer burnt or unimportant should be thrown out, so that's what I did.
78. I found *so much* freezer burnt meat that had to be removed.
79. The meat-eaters in this house don't eat the food that they buy.
80. These are lives that they've had snuffed out, and they haven't even bothered to make use of them.
81. What a waste.
82. If it had been vegetables, I'd have eaten them myself long ago.
83. We seriously don't keep enough vegetables in the house.
84.

85.

86. I also checked in on my University of the People application online.
87. I've been anxiously waiting for a response from them, but hadn't yet.
88. I've been accepted! Frustrated that they didn't email me about my acceptance as they said they would, I checked my email, and sure enough, they sent me a letter informing me three days ago - I've just been too busy to check my email in that time period.
89. It's a good thing that I checked now though, as I was expected to respond by the thirtieth of this month, confirming my enrollment and choosing a starting term.
90. I chose the September term; the November term was the only other available option.
91. My mother wanted to know if my credits from my last school would transfer to my new school.
92. I wasn't sure how to break it to them that I'd rather start fresh than be associated with that terrible other school.
93. They weren't supportive and they were not understanding.
94. I don't want their name on my degree, and if possible, I'd like to have my record with them stricken.
95. However, if I were to say that, it'd likely start an argument.
96. Thankfully, I located information while skimming University of the People's terms of service indicating that they do not take transfer credits at all at this time, from any school.
97. I can get what I need without any hassling from my mother.
98.

99.

100. At the end of the day, we bagged up everything that we need to be rid of (save for the refrigerator) so that we can haul it off and donate it tomorrow.
