- I know I said the next album I bought would be another from Brad Sucks to experiment with the album purchased page, but I found a new artist and was far too tempted to get one of his albums instead.
- Through Marc With a C, I found Professor Shyguy, and artist using human vocals over a background of chiptune.
- Unfortunately, the Professor Shyguy album that Marc guest stars on is proprietary, so I didn't get to hear how that was, but several of his other albums are free.
- I purchased Rated Heart, and am thuroughly enjoying it, despite it being about proprietary games I can't play anymore, many of which I have never played to begin with and don't get the references to.

- In trying to settle into the new laptop, I again tried to find a reasonable text editor.
- All I want is syntax highlighting and automatic spell checking, both of which seem basic to me, but it seems that has been too much to ask for.
- Until now, I've been settling for Gedit, which has syntax highlighting, but spell checking must be manually turned on for each document individually, and must be turned on each time you open the document.
- I tried out a few editors today, including several that I had already tried in the past.
- One such editor was Geany, but this time, I installed the Geany spell checking plugin alongside it.
- Geany seems to do the job I need it to now, so my search for an editor has ended.
- Geany also has the option to insure that files end in new line characters whenever you save them (Gedit does this with no way to turn it off), but unlike Gedit, the trailing new line at the end of a file is not hidden from the user.

- My canary still sings the tune of freedom and transparency.
