71. Day 10:
72.

73.

74. Yesterday, my mother implied that she would be gone a week.
75. But today, she said she would be back on Sunday.
76. I considered waiting for her to get back to make my move on the computer front, but my independence, and therefore my freedom, is at stake.
77. If I wait, she will only use this as further "evidence" that I need to get a driver license.
78. I don't need to burn fossil fuels in order to run basic errands.
79. If I go by bike, I risk upsetting her, but if I a wait for her to get back, I risk much more.
80. She can just get over herself.
81. If she wants to do things a particular way, that's fine, but she does not need to inflict her way on other people when she is not even involved in the situation.
82.

83.

84. Update: Just after having written my web blog entry for the day, my sister got home.
85. I talked to her about the situation, and it turns out that she has been planning to walk to the recycling center tomorrow as well.
86. My mother probably said nothing to her, because she assumes my sister is going to be driving.
87. My sister does, after all, have both a car and a license.
88. However, much to my mother's dismay, my sister usually prefers to walk as well.
89. My mother often doesn't take this into account though.
90. So I'm ditching the bike.
91. My sister and I will walk to the recycling center tomorrow.
92.

94.

95. I couldn't update my canary today, as I was cut off from my Web/ssh server.
