#1 Alarm sound

Hey so I tried adding the alarm sound but it doesnt work i named it alarm.ogg but nothing happen when the alarm came i heard nothing maybe i did sumn wrong could you help me with that?

What's the exact path where you put the alarm.ogg file?
Are you sure this is a proper OGG Vorbis file (and not an MP3 with the .ogg extension for instance)?

It is an ogg file and it is in 3DS/data/Clock

This you dump your DSP using DSP Dump?
If you don't put the alarm.ogg file, do you hear the default alarm sound?
Have you tried with another file?

ive never even heard an normal one

maybe it is bcs i only got an normal 2ds

Mmm if you didn't hear the default one then I guess you didn't dump your DSP. (That should be a file in /3ds/dspfirm.cdc on your SD card)

so im new into jailbraking stuff so how do i dump it XD

Yup that's normal, you have to use this utility to create it: https://github.com/Cruel/DspDump/releases/tag/1.0

It will automatically do it for you, you just have to launch it using the Homebrew Launcher.

where do i put it?

You put it in the 3ds/ directory on your SD card, then the app should appear on the Homebrew Launcher menu.

Well so i tried it again it worked with the timer but i only got the normal alarm and when i tried doing a real alarm my 2ds crashed

Well i got a problem my ds cant read the sd card...

Your SD card should be formatted as FAT32 with the MBR partition scheme, 32GB max is safe although it should work with up to 128GB without problem.

Well if i format it do i need to jailbreak my 2ds again?

If you format your SD card, you'll just need to copy Luma3DS's boot.firm on it again, but you shouldn't even have to do that if you've followed a proper guide like https://3ds.hacks.guide
