I'm not a fan of root features because:
they can cause real harm to the device
difficult to test and debug because only my old tablet can be rooted
but I also see the benefits.
The core logic (of silent APK installation with root permission) is simple but I have to refactor the app to make use of it.

Sorry, but I will not implement this feature (because it's dangerous, hard to debug, not well documented and too much work)
But the next version (72.1.0) will download the app updates in the background. This should speed up the update process.

It would be great if the app would allow to automatically install and update Firefox when having root.
