#1 Questions and Concerns Regarding This Server Manager

Hello there and I hope this finds you well! I stumbled across this since I am trying to move away from my shared host for more options of handling Minetest Server's backups. While keeping "day to day" functions primarily simple enough to do over the web. So I don't need to sudo and/or CLI for everything. Firstly what actual features does this panel currently comes with? Does it just gives you start/stop functions? Does it gives a file manager? .conf editor? etc? Then I am kinda confused about how I would set this up, if I read the README correctly it's... First setup the VPS as you would normally do and installing the PHP5 (or higher) and minetest-server package from the package manager of the VPS's OS. But after that it confusing, like I don't understand who I need to be giving the sudo access to for the event manager, what page I would be visiting once I did configured the conf.php file, as well as what "Copy a fresh minetest source tree (compiled with binaries) into servers/ in a .tgz archive". Do you means building a server from source even though the server been already installed at the OS level? I would also be confused about where the MTSM's tree would be on a system, for it's mods/ and games/ folders. Please do explain to me more about this project and thanks you very much in advance!
