CipherBuddy was designed to aid you in decrypting ciphertext. But you can use CipherBuddy to encrypt since for many methods, encryption and decryption use the same algorithm.
When encrypting, the ciphertext in CipherBuddy will be your plaintext and
the plaintext in CipherBuddy will be your ciphertext.
To encrypt, first create a file (using a text editor, not a word
processor), open CipherBuddy and load the file. Then select the encryption
method and perform the necessary operations. Once the message is
encrypted, select Save Plaintext from the File menu, to store your
ciphertext.
