So you can set the environment variable as :DXVK_FILTER_DEVICE_NAME="AMD"
Also, you can use the tool named "goverlay" to show many hardware and software infos on HUD in game, such as which gpu you're using. So you can get more infos about how the game is working.
Do you have two gpus?
If it is, you can add a environment variable just as :
https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk#device-filter
For example:
vulkaninfo | grep -i deviceName
You can see the gpus' names, such as:
deviceName = AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT (RADV NAVI23)
deviceName = Intel(R) UHD Graphics 730 (ADL-S GT1)
So you can set the environment variable as :DXVK_FILTER_DEVICE_NAME="AMD"

If you are on Arch Linux, remove the amdvlk package (x86_64 AND i386 variants). Those are sometimes suggested and installed by Steam. Use radv (from Mesa) instead.
I would recommend you to use the env var DXVK_HUD=full to see whether:
DXVK works
your graphics card is used to render the game (not llvmpipe)
If that did not help, please have a look at TROUBLESHOOTING.md to perform the steps "Driver verification" and "Vulkan verification".
The configuration that you need:
GPU driver: amdgpu (see lspci)
Vulkan driver: radv (see vulkaninfo)
Working DXVK (see DXVK_HUD)

Yes I am on arch. I have only vulkan-radeon as drivers. I dont have amdvlk. and yes dxvk is working. seen it in the mangohud and I also have the cache in game folder.everything works more or less fine in linux but the shadows take a huge toil for some reason. Like near the venti statue with that huge tree, in sumeru city, etc.
thanks!

I tried the origin and zen and xanmod, seems that zen and xanmod works better on my pc.
Also I will recommand you to use a tool named "corectrl", that can adjust cpu and gpu performance.
Maybe this can help you, but please read the wiki, if you want to get your gpu being full controlled by it.
Which kernel do you use?

I happen to have an AMD Polaris and I encounter this issue as well, though, only on high shadow settings with longer sessions. My guess is it could be VRAM spilling to system ram since performance does not change (when it starts lagging) when changing shadow setting. In my case, changing shadow quality to medium (then restart game) alleviates the issue.

I am using the linux-zen kernel. and I have corectrl up and running all the time. have the gpu frequency at 1400mhz from 1244 and memory freq to 2000 from 1750mhz. and I the game is not eating up all of my vram. even at every settings maxed, it takes about 2.8 to 3 at most

ok changing it to medium fixed it this time. Thank you all and sorry for the inconvenience. Also can anyone tell me what settings impact performance and by how much?

sorry I forgot to mention my system specs earlier. I have only one gpu amd rx570(4gb). and a intel i5-9400f(no igpu)
