If you have the original disc image of SMG2 or you can use Dolphin then you don't need at all to use this tool, this was designed for those who don't have the original game disc and/or a decent computer to run Dolphin.

Usage:

• Drag and drop a SMG2 (Super Mario Galaxy 2) ISO/WBFS file into the drag&drop.bat file.
• Follow instructions on CMD

Rom hacks are stored in Internet Archive at --> https://archive.org/details/SMG_1-2_Rom_Hacks

You can either download the hack and place the compressed file at the "mods" folder or let the program download the hack for you.

Recomendations and notes:

Try playing the hacks setting the language to English, I tried to play some hacks on Spanish (for example) and when talking to an NPC the game crashed, but on English everything went correctly (it is the most supported language for SMG mods).

I've only tested the hacks with an USA version of SMG2 so I really don't know if the other regional versions work 100%, but they should. If for some reason a rom hack does not work with you, try downloading a different regional copy of SMG1 and try the process again with that other SMG1 file.
