Wool Vortex

Loads and views posts tagged with your favourite tag.

Building from sources

• Have Rust
• git clone https://notabug.org/Houkime/wool-vortex
• cd wool-vortex
• cargo build

Usage

• Ensure that tor is running at port 9050. Untorified usage is unsupported atm.
• cargo run cats
• j and k or arrow keys to scroll.

Limitations

• No async yet
• No highlighting of links/mentions/tags
• No images other than avatars
• No jpg avatars (limitation of macroquad)
• Only 20 posts, no infinite scroll
• Hardcoded mastodon.technology host
• Only one tag at a time

Non-goals

• Mouse support
